MEET Anna Payton
Hi, I'm Anna Payton
I'm a Mississippi wedding and portrait photographer, wife to Clay, and mama to our sweet little boy, Davis.
What started as a love for documenting life's meaningful moments has grown into a business centered around serving people well and preserving memories that only become more valuable with time. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked as a funeral director, a role that taught me the importance of listening well, caring for people during life's most significant moments, and cherishing the stories that make each person unique. Those lessons continue to shape the way I serve my clients today.
My approach is a blend of timeless storytelling and natural, heartfelt imagery. I want your photos to feel like you. The joyful, emotional, beautifully imperfect moments that tell your story.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, serving at church, exploring new places, editing photos in a cozy coffee shop, or chasing after my toddler and our two dogs.
I believe every season deserves to be remembered, and it is truly an honor to be invited into yours.

We welcomed our son, Davis, into the world. The same year, I took a leap of faith and transitioned to photography full-time.
Serving couples and families across Mississippi and beyond, while documenting genuine moments that will be treasured for generations.
I married my best friend, Clay, and started building a life filled with faith, family, and adventure.
With the encouragement of a friend, I officially launched Anna Payton Photography and began capturing families and life's sweetest moments.
My parents gave me my very first camera, and I attended photography camp for the first time. That's where the spark began.
